Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's rooms are in desperate need of upgrading, and unfortunately, the manager was rude and angry during my stay. However, the standard size and layout were okay, although the noise level was very high at all times.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were a great size and had a good layout, but being adjacent to the smoking area made it quite loud at times. The room was ample for my needs, with clean floors and spotless toilets, but it didn't meet my expectations as a superior room due to various issues like a shower door that did not close and missing amenities like an iron. However, the service was incredibly helpful and kind, with staff going above and beyond to assist - a total guardian angel for us. The location was fine for my purpose, but it's quite far from Birmingham for those seeking a city hotel. Despite that, the relaxing beer garden and the courteous staff made it a good central point. The dining experience was a hit and miss, with delicious options but limited choices. Overall, good value for money with a few hiccups along the way.
The hotel is conveniently located near various attractions like Drayton Manor theme park, Cadburys World, and the Motorcycle museum, making it a good choice for visitors. The room had issues with water leaks that affected the lighting and needed better maintenance. Despite the mixed experience, the location is excellent for exploring the area.
